Menorca Returns to the Festival des Templiers

Menorca will be represented at the major international trail-running event in Millau, France, to promote the Camí de Cavalls.

Menorca will be represented at the Festival des Templiers, taking place from 15 to 18 October in Millau, France, by the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, with the aim of promoting the island and the Camí de Cavalls as one of its major natural, sporting and cultural attractions.

Over these days, the festival brings together runners, athletes, organisers and enthusiasts from different parts of the world for a programme featuring 18 races and a large exhibition dedicated to trail running and outdoor sports.

At this international event, we will have the opportunity to introduce visitors to the unique character of the Camí de Cavalls, a historic trail that encircles the island and offers a way to discover its landscapes, heritage and essence through a variety of activities, from trail running to hiking and other nature-based experiences.

“Taking part in the Festival des Templiers is an opportunity to present our very own trail-running legend: the Camí de Cavalls. We want runners to discover Menorca not only as a sporting destination, but also as a place rich in landscape, culture and experiences.”

Menorca at the Trail Running Fair

Menorca will be present at the Trail and Running Fair, one of the festival’s main meeting points, with the aim of promoting the Camí de Cavalls and introducing Menorca’s identity to the thousands of visitors who attend the fair.

At stands 191–192, within the Trail & Territoires France area, visitors will be able to discover the island, its landscapes and the historic trail that encircles it. They will also have the opportunity to explore some of Menorca’s local products, share experiences with athletes and enjoy a range of activities and offerings.

Admission to the fair is free, and the venue is approximately a 10-minute walk from the centre of Millau.

  • Friday: 12:00–19:00
