Given the large number of requests received each year, the organization has a raffle for entries to determine the athletes who will have an entry in the next edition.

In order to be eligible to participate, you must previously participate in the pre-registration process, which is free of charge. If, once the pre-registration process has finished, there are more pre-registered athletes than entries available, a raffle will be made for places before a notary. All those interested must pre-register, otherwise they will not enter the raffle for places and, therefore, they would not have the possibility of participating in the races.

The pre-registration period of the XVII 1/2 Marathon of Formentera and 8 Km. race Sant Ferran – La Savina, will start on November 5 and end on December 9, 2025.

You can only pre-register for one of the two distances. So please be attentive to which distance to choose.

After pre-registration, you will receive in the email provided in the data, your number of participation in the raffle (we advise you to verify all the data).

Direct entries are awarded and therefore athletes who have participated in a minimum of 5 editions are exempt from the raffle. During the pre-registration period these people will receive an email with instructions for accessing the registration platform.

Residents in Formentera must apply for an entry through the Sports Area of the Consell Insular de Formentera, where they will be provided with an access code to the registration platform.

The pre-registration is individual and non-transferable. The data entered when applying for an entry and the distance chosen, cannot be modified during the final registration process.

For people who want to participate in a group, we advise pre-registration at the same time, in order to obtain the most consecutive numbers possible.

Confirmation of registration

Once the pre-registration period has ended, if necessary, the raffle will be held before a notary at the official headquarters of the Consell Insular de Formentera, in the presence of the main authorities.

The notary extracts a random number for each of the distances. This number and the subsequent ones, until completing the entries available will be the grateful numbers in the raffle. The holders of these numbers will have obtained a place to participate in the corresponding race.

The raffle will be recorded and broadcast on the event’s social media profiles and official website, in addition to the confirmation of the result.

The lucky ones will be able to formalize their registration, paying the corresponding fee, through the website, from December 17, to January 7, 2026, by entering their identification number (ID or Passport) used in the pre-registration in the Authorization Code field.

IMPORTANT: If during this period the confirmation of the registration is not made with the corresponding payment of the fee, any option on the entry will be lost.

Registration fees

• 48 € Half Marathon + administration fee (0,90€)
• 32 € 8 Km. Sant Ferran – La Savina + administration fee (0,90€)

To these prices 3 € will be added if you need to rend a chip in case of not having a yellow chip.

Last-Chance Registration

If there are any vacant spots after the registration period, a single last-chance registration round will be held, in which all pre-registered runners who were not selected in the lottery can participate.

If you were not selected in the lottery, you will be able to formalize your registration in this last-chance registration from January 12 until all spots are filled.

The registration process for the last-chance registration will follow the same procedure as the initial registration. To do this, you must use the same identification number (ID, passport, etc.) that you used during pre-registration.

Important: There will be only one last-chance registration round until all spots are filled.

REGISTRATION CALENDAR 1/2 MARATHON AND 8 KM FORMENTERA 2026

- From November 5 at 12 p.m. to December 9, 2025 at 11:59 p.m., pre-registration period through our official website of the www.marato-formentera.com

- Raffle before a notary in Formentera, on December 12 at 12.00 pm, of the available entries once the people with a guaranteed entry have been discounted.

- Deadline for the final registration to the winners of the raffle, from December 17, to January 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

- Single last-chance registration, if necessary, from Januaryr 12 at 12.00 p.m.  until quota is exhausted.
